G87 M2 - track safety devices

Hey Guys,

Does anyone have experience with installing 6-point harnesses on their factory carbon buckets? It seems like they're fit for them, but it's not clear and there isn't much info online. Which rollbar works best with the G87 for harness mounting? Any info would be much appreciated.

Thanks!

curious about this as well. I like the seat all the way back sometimes. is there a bar that interferes the least with the carbon seats?

I have the carbon buckets and I believe that carbon cock rest does not allow for a pass through for the 6 points (which should be a crime). If you pass the anti submerging belt in front of it, you're asking to have your nuts removed with any solid impact...

As for half-cages BimmerWorld has one that seems like it allows for tires to be passed through under the cage, which doesn't completely remove the "effective space" in the rear seat.

Most other half cages mount into the rear of the trunk which kills trunk space and disables the rear seats to have items in it with bucket seats.

EDIT*

If you don't care about rear seat space and trunk space CMS has been very popular. You could also just go for a four point harness and not worry about buckets as well.

Before you do that check to see how many tires you can get through to the back seat passing through the trunk. The answer is 2. Once you get 2 in and vertical there isn't enough to get the 3rd through horizontally. So you would have 2 in the backseat, one in the trunk and the 4th on the passenger seat or roof or buddies car.
I am working on a concept of a half cage that still allows 3 tires to go through the passenger door area.
