Sun visor warning labels

Anyone tried removing these? I know I did somewhat successfully on one of my cars in the past with Goof Off. I don't like them but not sure it's worth $400 to replace.

Not worth the hack job. If you try and remove them you can still tell there were labels there because it leaves some discoloration.

Order the euro ones from Schmiedmann for $220, just have to wait a couple weeks.

I found subtle decals to cover them on my GTI. They were very thin and with a bit of heat there is no chance they would come off. Just an idea.

There's a source on eBay for (matte black) decals to cover the warning labels. One of the first mods I install on any new BMW.

Check this video out:

IND also sells the euro replacements, although significantly more expensive than the other poster suggested.

I never understood this "mod". How often are you looking at these labels? I never notice them. :

Only with visor down, but for less than $15, why not?

I've installed a few sets of these from eBay. Well worth eliminating the unsightly distraction in one's peripheral vision.

I had to purposefully look at my visors yesterday to see the warning label, and then it's only visible (barely) with the visor up. When the visor is down, the label is facing out the window - not the driver.
