Tri State salesman\dealer

Anyone have a really good experience here that doesnt mind sharing? I vowed to never buy new again after how bad an experience I had... almost 15 years ago so I know I should get over it but it really soured me.

That said, reading about PCD and really wanting xdrive just given Northeast + city life meaning I really only want one car max, I want to get on the list for an allocation or whatever the correct terminology would be to get a 2026 or 27 xdrive m2.

I'd ideally like to go to someone that someone here had a good experience with.

Bob at BMW Ridgefield got me an MSRP allocation in June of 2023. I am sure you can do better than MSRP now. Theres also plenty of brokers on the forum who can do the same.

Jon & Manjula at Bridgewater BMW are the best, I’ve bought seven cars from them over the past few years and they’ve been an absolute pleasure to work with.

Appreciate this, I am going to reach out to them. If and when things are going nicely Ill let you know so you can claim some credit for whatever your next car is.

I just saw Manjula today, she was fantastic. They had someone cancel an M3 comp, I am sure I am explaining this incorrectly, but I gather given it was racing green\isle of man green it was a custom build from Germany, so they said come take a look.

I obviously dont want to get into any sort of online flame wars but man the car was beautiful other than the front grill, which is just sooo tough for me to get over. Honestly, given that I want an M2xdrive and Jon indicated that it really could be a year after the production date given how low production is, I am obviously not first on the list like one of you guys would be who has a bunch of cars through them, even if I get them a deposit someone might skip ahead of me which I 100% get... it was very temping for those reasons. ( to buy the M3)

I wish I was more knowledgeable about how it all really works, I am of course interested in a "deal" but I am also not someone who is like DEALER CAN MAKE NO MONEY OFF ME. Its just the total price for the car was above what I want to be paying, but if I am helping them out by buying that car since someone backed out that sounds fine to me but obviously its not quite the same as picking the car out exactly as I want it, picking it up in south carolina like I want to.

I am glad I went to see them, Manjula was fantastic, Jon I got the impression really wanted me to commit to something today which I respect. If the m3 had been an M2 I might have done so even with no xdrive just because of all this trump tariff uncertainty.

I just wish the M3 fully loaded like it was was more in the 85k range. They had a lightly used one for sale, I think 2024 M3 comp with 4k miles and that was 85k. Either I am missing something on the huge delta between the M3 and M2 or I am just stuck in the 2000's for auto pricing.

its not an apples to apples comparison. M3cx likely had a sticker new close to 100k. Majority of M2s MSRP (pre-price hike on 5/1) for 20-30k less than that. base G80s can be had for a much better deal which is a more fair comparison

BMW of Greenwich in CT was where I got my M2 order in back in July of 2023, went into production November 2023 and delivered January 2024. The staff and sales advisors there were top notch throughout the entire process. I’m based on Long Island so the only reason I went there was because they sell at sticker, period. My sales advisor was constantly in contact via email and was very accommodating. It was my first buying-new experience and it was fantastic, highly recommend.

By the way, José is a sales advisor there and can get BMW Individual orders in like crazy if you’re after anything Individual.
