Android App users poll

A poll for our android users:

Background:
Due to google play store policy changes, as a solo app developer I can no longer meet the requirements for having the app on the google play store (apple App Store remains unaffected).

As a work around:
I'm preparing to release the updated version of the android app by hosting it directly on the site here, meaning you have to "sideload" the app, or directly install the app to your device outside the android app store.

I'm trying to gauge if this is a worthwhile project by seeing if people will actually want to do that. Alternatively you could just stay with whatever the last version you have installed indefinitely. The problem with that is over time, the app will slowly break as new features are added or old features are further refined.

Otherwise the latest version of the app is ready to go today...

It's a shame "backward compatibility" means nothing to you. Old features should remain available while new ones become available with updates. Improving isn't always what it's meant to be. I don't use phone apps when there are Web apps (interactive sites) available. I wish I could undo those phone software upgrades! Buying "bug fixing" doesn't go well (allowing bugs in release versions is an absolute bullshit, actually - quantity ain't quality ). Nor does curiosity for new features.
