It looks great in that above spec and color although I miss that big Wing which gives it away that it's a ZR1... the hood vent also helps let us know but that's there as standard.

Stop hoarding Z06s, some of us want one eventually too.
If I were in your shoes, I would try to get a ZR1X. It absolutely has to be an insane experience. If it's running 8s, it will be as quick as a Rimac but at a quarter of the cost, hell probably like a fifth of it. And it has the grip to go around corners.

The Grass is not always greener on the other side. I'm sure everyone has heard that before.

Cars and women. Pick your poison for happiness.

On a side note, the na engine in the Z06 sounds probably so much better than the muffled turbo in the higher tier vehicles. And plus I can't really do much with that much power on the street and I would get myself into a lot of trouble. The regular stingray and the Z06 are probably the max you want to go unless you have the means and disposable income to go with the highest tier.

Getting the most expensive and fastest and most powerful car I guess is not everything and doesn't define happiness but I'm sure it would be a reasonably good experience if you're able to experience it in a safe and mature manner.

To be fair, the ZR1 (and Corvette in general) have been kicking far more expensive ass for like, ever.

If I was gonna buy a C8, I'd probably be looking at an e ray, maybe a z51. Being automatic only the e ray with its hybrid drive system seems appealing.

That said, I wouldn't touch one until they get that dumpster fire DCT fixed.

The vast majority of Corvettes are very reliable and only a few magnify the issue and advertise it because they want to vent out. The Corvette is a fantastic car and value even though it's getting more expensive. Have to keep the options in check. They are giving good discounts since supply is higher and demand is low. I'm on Corvette forum regularly and MacMulkin is a go-to dealership high volume and fair discounts from what they say.
