ONR is optimum no rinse. Or otherwise known as wizard magic to myself and a lot of others. https://theragcompany.com/products/o...-and-shine-onr

Good stuff. I used to use it when I lived in NY / before moving to FL.
Setup: You basically fill one bucket with soap / water and a 2nd with clean rinse water. Best to use grit guards. Use warmer water if you're in the cold, your hands will thank you later. Toss around 6 microfiber towels into the soap bucket. ~16x16" towels are a good size. How to: Start on the roof and work your way down (roof, glass, hood, trunk, then vertical panels) so one section does not run onto another. You will clean one panel of the car at a time.. Take a clean cloth from the solution and wring out just until not dripping. Fold in half. Lay the towel on the panel and draw it across in one direction. DO NOT SCRUB or alternate directions. You will see the dirt collect on the edge of the towel. After each few passes or when the dirt collection is significant, refold the towel to a clean edge. When all edges are used put the towel in the 2nd bucket. If the dirt is more significant, you may need to repeat passes. Blot dry each section as you go. Repeat around the car. Once all towels are used, flush them in the plain water bucket and return them to the soap bucket and repeat. If you are going to do the wheels, do so with care as brake dust is sharp / scratches easily and does not easily release from towels. Use a 2nd set of towels and do not co-mingle them.

That’s why I use it. I live in a condo high rise, so no hose option. This works extremely well with the 2 bucket system. This was my 2018 F-Type 400 Sport that I only hand washed with this product.

I've been using it for 4 years and don't even bother with a hose anymore. I keep a microfiber mitt and small spray bottle in my trunk in case any nastiness gets on the car while I'm out. |

I love ONR because my car can get a hand wash mid winter in my garage!
I take it to the hand wash bay and power rinse, then drive home and hand wash with ONR and hot water in the garage. |

It is as safe as your washing style / choice of mitt. If you scrub all kinds of ways, then you'll surely get swirls/scratches. I can tell you that it came highly recommended by my detail shop that ceramic coated my car as a solution that was safe to use.

The key things to remember: Have your rags fully saturated and folded in half -- wring out just enough so they are not dripping all over, but holding as much water as possible. This will give you lubrication as the rag picks up dirt and contaminants Move the rag in a straight line and only in one direction and DON'T SCRUB. Change rag surfaces frequently. Don't drag accumulated dirt over the car. If your car is caked with salt or mud I would do a rinse at a self-wash bay first.

Just here to say researching this and it sounds like a game changer parking in highrise garage with no hose access.
I park across the street even from my building ($100 cheaper), but might just be able to drive to the loading area of my building and then bring down buckets of water to wash right on the street. I will look like a clown to most, but save a lot of $ and have a clean car so whatever haha. |

Tried ONR for the first time today, in my garage. Tried it on my wife's Polestar first, of course - just in case.
Absolutely fantastic result. Thank you Connor22 I always doubted "by default" no rinse, waterless and other things like that. Kinda' sounded like snake oil. It's true i did hose down the car before bringing it into the garage, but used bare minimum water, and no pressure washer. Just enough to soften larger chunks of salt/sand. I'm a convert for the cold months now. Which is almost 6 months up here

I'm sure eventually I will find a reason/excuse to get the foam one too That being said - the sprayer is great for this particular application. The unit looks solid build, good quality.
