Anybody use oil/fuel cleaners??

Hey guys, been having the usual engine ticking/tapping noise at engine idle, been told could be some sludge on the "wastergators?" causing the tapping, engine drives fine etc just wondering if anybody uses the cleaners/additives and if they help etc?

If you mean wastegate rattle, than cleaner not going to fix them.

Could be the valve lifter ticking issue. In which case this might help:

Also depending on age there's a software fix that increases the oil pump pressure to help this not happen.
