Performance Center Delivery

Awesome day spent at the BMW Performance Center picking up my new M2. Highly recommend this no cost option if available during your delivery timeline and kudos to the PDC team for making this such a memorable experience.

I babied it on the drive back to Atlanta, but can already tell this is going to be one special machine. Can't wait for the break-in service!

Nice! I'm looking forward to doing mine on 7/17. They had you driving M2c on track? What was the schedule of the activities?

Yep, the M2C was a blast. Got to flog it on their road course track for about 10 laps with just me in the car.

SOE for our group:
-Road course
-Stability control on wet track
-Professional drive in M3
-Museum tour (factory in a period of no tours until late Aug due to maintenance)
-X5 Offroad course
-Lunch
-Car delivery

Check out my USAA Safedriver app. The detected crash must have been one of my high G drifts.

Haha that's hilarious. Is the wet track bit in the m2c or something else?

Nice! Congrats! Hope you’re enjoying it.

Do you know if what you got to do is similar to the event we get included in the Driver’s Package option?

Oh god. Turn that spyware off. Please don't enable them.

Congrats! Didn’t make any video? So what time did you complete all the activities and left the performance center?

I think the Drivers Package reserves a future driving experience at any of the BMW US certified track locations. However don't quote me on this.

Yours will be much more extensive and you’ll be in a full M car. Still not worth it as a stand alone option, especially if you’re a CCA member.

Cool. Thanks. I’ll have to pay for a flight from here so I think Thermal will be best. South Carolina is very far. Plus, I wanted to visit Palm Springs anyway. Will see with dealer how to get the voucher. Wondering what months are best to go, but not planning anything this year I don’t think…

Plus I want to do it in a G87, even if all they can offer is an autotragic

I’ve never been to Thermal, it’s on my list. I have a GC for the M School that I need to use, been casually looking at dates there and there aren’t a lot of options. I’ve done the track at Greer on bikes and cars so many times, I’m looking for a different experience. Also looking into the Indianapolis program but events also appear few and far between.

If you’ve never been to the PC in Greer I recommend it, the instructors are top notch. Though Airfares are probably higher as Greenville is a small airport. You’re on the Canadian WC?
