Windshield Polish?

Hey all, I recently was driving on the highway when something brown/red hit my windshield and left this very weird brownish mark. I tried to clean it with alcohol, glass cleaner, magic eraser even and nothing takes it off. Interestingly, there’s no scratch or you can’t feel it with a fingernail. Does anyone know what I can do to remove this or make it better? I was thinking maybe to try auto glass polish? Thanks!

Maybe try a clay bar. I use it all time on the glass, gets the tree sap, etc.

I use this on my windows. I do it every 2-3 months. You’d be surprised how much tar and other contaminants are on the windshield. I typically just spray body shine or detailed on the windshield before I wash the car and clay it. Rinse off and then wash the car.

Try a razor blade at a low angle.

0000 Steel wool from Home Depot should do the trick for under 5 bucks. you can use a bit of lubrication or soap water with it.

This will work. However, I recommend sanding both corners a bit with some emery cloth to round them preventing glass scratches.
