Suggestions for serious detailers in DFW?

Hey all,

With my E92 M3 on the way in October, I want to get some feedback from those who have experience with real detailers in DFW. Not those wash and buff type places. I'm thinking more of the write-ups you see in the M3 Detailing Forum, where careful attention is paid to paint correction etc.

I don't need someone to wash my car once a month, I'm a DIY guy. But I have a feeling I'll want my M3 (and maybe even my current car) totally prepped from an exterior standpoint when I get back from ED later this year. Since the car will have been through a lot of driving via ED, then 1000 miles back to Dallas from Maryland (where I'm picking it up), I think there is a high probability of light scratches, swirls and just general paint abuse from the road trip(s).

I've heard a bit about Scott Wax: http://www.scottwax.com/

and also came across this website: http://www.detailwerkzdallas.com/

Can anyone recommend a place in Dallas that is as serious about paint care/correction as MuttGrunt and some of the other detailers on this forum?

Thanks,
Sam

Mike at Detail Perfection (www.detailperfection.com) and Josh Ottmann (www.ottmanndetailing.com) are widely considered two of the best detailers in DFW.

Very good! Thanks for the link to the DFW Auto Club forum, I had forgotten about it.

Both places look to be reputable, I would not know how to choose between them. I guess I will call each of them when my car arrives on U.S. soil.

^^ Right, mentioned him in my original post. Have any specific comments or recommendations about SW?
