Jeremy Clarkson Not Returning to Top Gear

As idiotic his actions may have been at times, I highly enjoyed watching Top Gear mostly cause of his hilarious jokes and the crazy stunts he pulled on the show. Wonder what's gonna happen to the show now..

The guy is an all around scumbag. I don't need bigotry, antisemitism, or misogyny with my car reviews. There are several Clarkson ball sucks on this forum that I'm sure will come to his defense.

I agree with the decision that was made. He physically assaulted an employee. There's no coming back from that. Now we really get to see whether or not Richard of James keep their word and decide not to do the show anymore.

Punching someone in th face causing them to go to the hospital is nothing like being sacrificed @ the alter of "diversity". Pretty sure anyone would get fired for the same thing.

Im going to miss Clarkson. He was a great host and very entertaining. If Hammon and May stay, Top Gear will not be the same. I hope the Trio stick together and bring 'Top Gear' to another network.

yep, Hammond is pretty much American already. He wears jeans and chews gum.

With Clarkson, they can replace him, but the on screen chemistry will be all messed up. You can't simply create chemistry between the 3. It took years and years shows to develop it to current stage.

What I think will happen is, they'll fire all 3 of them and replace with a new cast. TG as we know it will be retained on BBC with a different cast and concept, but the 3 presenters will be stolen by a competitor station and essentially remake TG under a different name. i.e. 5th Gear.

If they simply insert Chris Harris in with May and Hammond, it just won't work. Harris is way to serious, and while I think TG shifted from serious to entertainment years ago, the extreme swing the other way will lose viewers. That's why I think they should just fire all 3 of them and revamp the show.
