V5 document, car insurance and car wrapping

When you have your car wrapped I'm assuming you would need to inform your insurance company and DVLA is this correct?

Anyone had their car wrapped in Estoril blue?

There was a thread on this a while back and iirc the verdict was:

DVLA: Don't need to be told, I think it was due to the temporary nature of the colour change.

Insurance: down to the individual company but I wouldn't risk it without letting them know

If you had your door inserts wrapped too then you would need to tell the DVLA
