BMW Extended Warranty

Evening all

apologies if this has already been asked (i did a quick search and didnt find anything relevant)

im trying to find out if I can take the official BMW extended warranty out - my car has (only just, 13th July) come out of its 3 year manufacturer warranty, and i totally forgot about taking out the extended.

so, question is, now the 3year new car warranty has expired have i missed my chance, does the extended cover have to start immediately after original warranty expires?

sorry if its a dumb question!

cheers

Garry

You can start it at any time.

There will be one month from when you start the warranty until you can make a claim.

Have a look on the site and punch in your details.

So long as yr below 60k it's quite straightforward. It's just an insurance policy after all.

thanks guys - had a voicemail last week from some woman i could hardly hear, i think she said she was from BMW warranty dept offering me a 'special deal' for a limited period (said it would be cheaper than on-line)

tried the on-line 'quote me' and it said i have to call them as the warranty had already expired

im hoping it will be around the £35 mark as my mileage is currently only 27000

cheers all
