Custom Exhaust

I am going to have a custom axle back(muffler delete) made for me. The question I have is, should I do a "Y" straight to the tips. Or should I keep the factory style bend that happens a little before the tips.

-Does either one affect sound, if so how?

-My last car was a mustang with a full-turbo back exhaust so drone is not a big deal to me. And if it is, I will eventually have them add on a branch resanator.

Bump. I'm in the same boat. Thinking of the standard magnaflow Y Pipe or the Y Pipe 10" muffler.

I went with the muffler delete. I can send you a video, if you PM me your email. Only cost 125 and is pretty bad ass
