That is about what i get from the 330d. Probably 37-39 on cruise. Problem is the mpg needle goes to 0 when i step on the accelerator.

In my 330d auto I get well over 40mpg on a 70mph motorway run - mine is remapped though

I think that the 335i MPG capabilities make it much more attractive than similar cars from other makers - I cant think of another 300bhp+ car that really returns high twenties on average?

I've got to get my driving boots resoled in something other than lead!

My first long trip in the car saw me return 29.5 over 700 miles of mostly motorway driving in France (new nipper in the back so I was going steady(ish)) and I was delighted! Mind you I was used to 17/8mpg on a similar journey in my previous vehicle..

Since I got the car the average consumption is at about 24/5 mpg (1700 miles) a few long journeys but mostly just dashing around. Happy so far...

They are phenomenal figures for the 335i and from such a powerful car.

Carl will flame me for this but I once returned 26mpg in my M on a motorway journey to Bristol. The journey was nearly all dual cariageway and motorway and due to traffic I couldn't go much faster than 60-70mph. I thought this was phenomenal from a 400bhp car... Had my pipe and slippers that day for sure!

Unfortunatley that was a one off as I'm normally out on the back roads at weekends returning figures some of you would have kittens over! lol

My RS6 was petrifying on a cross country blatt. When you go for a 30 min run and then work out it cost you over £15 in fuel alone you know its time to....stop working out what it cost you in fuel.......

The great thing about the 335i is I think I'm actually having more fun on those cross country blatts and its costing me a lot less.

Sounds like the perfect combination - fun AND value for money! You've got to admit it, the E9x is an awesome drivers car and grips the backroads like a leech. I love it!
