The HAS was port installed and I'm running on whatever alignment they configured. I have satin black Apex VS-5RS on 295/30/19s going on soon with camber plates. I'll then get a street / track alignment (or do it myself).

Also, I forgot to mention the HAS kit appears to be installed at its lowest setting.

How does the M2 compare to the GTR? I was between a used GTR and a new M2, but went new car since used market was still pretty high.

The m2 was delivered yesterday. I just drove it into the garage. I’ll install track tape tonight then get it over to the PPF shop in the morning.

I did have a 22 G80 xdrive. It’s refinement is on an entire different level. The GTR is raw and analog. It’s also on bigger turbos and a 5 inch exhaust so not a daily driver.

Can’t wait to drive the m2.

I recommend PPF on the reach haunches, at least half of the front side of the rear fender. I had it done and it's already caught a few strays. Sucks having pollen build up on the PPF line, but I'd rather clean that line than apply colorchip.

Planning PPF where the side skirts meets the rear haunches(that rectangular shape) when I get the car. Based on your experience, do you think it’s high enough to protect the rockchip from front tires?

I did the side skirts and then the PPF guy recommended an additional section above that. He was right because I can already see a few spots where it's been hit after 1,600 miles. Nothing bad, and I'm happy I listened to him. It's really hard to see, but the pic attached has arrows showing the line. He put the line so that it follows the bottom of the door handle scoop.

Thanks for showing the picture of yours with the helpful arrows pointing out the PPF line. It shouldn't be too bad keeping the line clean, as long as the leading edge of that PPF is inside the door jamb. My 2021 M2C came with factory PPF in front of the rear wheels, but the leading edge is in the middle of the panel. See attached picture how the leading edge catches dirt and is not easy to keep clean. The trailing edge is actually about an inch from the fender lip, still clean, and almost invisible in the picture.

In fact, when I brought the car home from the dealership for the first time (a 2+ hour trip from NY to CT), literally the first thing my wife said on seeing the car for the first time was, "what's that line on the side of the car?" She was referring to the leading edge of the PPF, already dirty.

BTW, I installed PPF on the front bumper a few days after delivery, and it's essentially invisible compared to the rear haunch factory piece.

Any tips for cleaning the edge lines of PPF?

My installer told me to clean edges by damping a microfiber in isopropyl alcohol. Factory PPF is notoriously poor quality, and it might just be too far gone. Mine extends to the door so it's just one line. It's very difficult to see it on a black car.

White cars and PPF is a difficult combo.

Another option is paint thinner. A few years ago I called Xpel about doing a warranty claim for these weird spots that appeared. They told me to rub a little paint thinner on and it cleared up the issue.

Whatever you do, start slowly in a small spot and be careful!

Xpel matte PPF complete on full front end, hood, and mirrors.

Totally stealth in person, I was actually shocked how well it matches the factory frozen finish.

Looks great!

I just dropped mine off for the full front , side skirts, carbon roof and bumper sides.

Glad to hear the stealth ppf matches the paint.

Presume you're going gloss for the roof?

Yes gloss. I was going to ceramic coat and call it a day but I’m planning to hold onto this car so what’s $500…
