Awesome wheels. Not familiar with offsets, but how much of a spacer do those wheels need to be flush?

Not the guy you're responding to, but I have the same wheels.

I run a 15mm front and a 12mm rear spacer from Future Classic.

I'm also going with 15mm front, 12mm rear. Everything should be on the car next Wednesday

If they are like OEM fitment, you will want 15 or 18 front and 18 rear. 12 will be pretty far in.

I just slapped on 15F / 18R and can confirm that the new fitment looks ideal. Pictures to come.. although there are others that have posted pics of the same setup on this forum.

Shine on you crazy black sapphire metallic

Just applied a coat of Adam's Polishes graphene coating. Gotta love it. Crazy gloss & super sharp reflections. I have very, very little orange peel in my paint's finish. Nice job, BMW!!

No PPF yet. Monday I go in to have the bumper, mirrors & those side sills done. I am already hitting the driver's side with my foot when I get in & out - no damage, but obviously needed there.

I don't really like PPF - I actually like polishing & coating my car. My F87 had it half way up the hood & I hated that look so I took it off. When I sold the car, not a mark on the hood. But the bumper was PPF'd & it's obviously needed & very beneficial. Makes cleaning it a breeze too.

The front lip & side skirts I am installing will also be PPF'd. I bought some XPEL to do those parts before I install them. I figure they'll take a beating too.

Forgot to mention - getting the windows tinted Monday at the same place doing my PPF. I am not going crazy dark - just CT legal. Black cars, to me, look better with a more dark gray tone. I think legal on the sides is 32% & the rear can be anything, but I'm just gonna do same amount all around. Ceramic tint, too.

Those are OEM 827M… I can’t run a too aggressive setup in Germany, laws are quite strict. We’ll see how it ends up next week

It's illegal to have flush rear wheels?

During the MP HAS and RE SSK install, I broke one of the M10 bolts on the large front under carriage brace. Was able to drill it with a LH bit and remove it with a larger LH bit. In the past, I haven’t been super successful doing that, so I decided to use higher quality tools. Used a genuine Starratt center punch (beware, fakes are all over Amazon and eBay) and used some high quality cobalt LH bits from McMaster. The 1/8” bit drilled very nicely. When I moved to the 3/16” bit, the broken bolt came right out.

Cleaned up the threads on the chassis with a thread chaser and the new bolt went in like butter.

Next project will be the BMS pedal stop and CDV delete. Then install the MC splash guards. https://ind-distribution.com/collect...lash-guard-set

German TUV is tough. Parts used must be certified and vehicles are reinspected every 3 years. We have it easy in the US regarding mods.
