20s are great. The fitment is perfect for stock wheels. The ride difference is noticeable. I did springs at the same time. Big difference. Thing sits completely flat during aggressive cornering.

Nice I live in Mills River, I rode by where you took those pics today. First day in at least a month I've been able to get out and ride- the weather has been shit here.
I planned on going to clingmans dome but my knees were already crying going from Asheville to Maggie valley on the parkway

Had my M2 at Clingman's in May. Was a great ride up and down but depends on traffic. I had a lucky weekday and it was great.

You're not kidding. I got stuck behind a Hyundai Kona...

I also had a braindead Prius driver park the front half of their car in my lane while they checked if it was clear to pull out from an overlook. Brand new Prius that had clearly been in at least 1 accident already. I can confirm the brakes work great.

Ultimately, we are so lucky to have so many nice roads around here to enjoy the turns and the scenery, and tunnels to enjoy the sounds.

my favorite nearby is the south side of 215 off the parkway, never see any cops/rangers down there either

Protection over PPF?

Hey Guys… I know I am probably I am being too paranoid but still asking here - I have PPF on my G87 but I am relocating from Houston to Denver at the end of the month (1,200 miles) and wanted to know if you all had any recommendation of anything additional to protect the paint from any potential rock chips. Is there a temporary PPF / wrap that I could put on the high impact areas that wouldn’t affect the actual PPF when removing it? Thank you

Shocking how similar the rear quarters look with the harsh lines. I got to drive it was loving it.

You want to put PPF over PPF? Yea you are paranoid. You could put trac wrap over it if you can’t control the paranoia

Are looking to remove and reuse the ppf? If so, that would be a no can do.

Thanks for your response

I would not re-use the temporary PPF, I would remove it and dispose of it when I get to Denver. My concern is that it sticks to the ‘permanent’ PPF and damages it.

The other option I am considering is to rent a u-haul truck and trailer and towing it - more expensive but more fail proof.

Is there a reason you don’t think the normal PPF will be enough? I got a crazy rock chip before PPF, but have had it for over 4k+ without any additional issue driving along a variety of So Cal roads.

I have only frontal PPF.

Judging by the responses here I see that I am worrying too much, depending on if I can load some stuff from the move on the U-Haul to save me some $ with the movers I will tow it. If not, I will just put some miles on it and enjoy the ride!

Not sure towing behind a uhaul wouldn't be the worst thing to do. If you have concerns on driving it that distance, there are companies that will transport it in an enclosed trailer/truck.
