Thanks. It’s a carbon fiber center cap if that is what you are referring to.

Just the picture. It’s colored in the lug bolt recesses.

MAD Oil Cooler Protector and MAD yellow DRL Modules

Quick and Easy installs from MAD this morning on the Oil Cooler Skid Plate as well as Yellow DRLs. Look Great and the skid plate was the last piece of protection for track days!

Skid plate provides far more protection for every day street driving.

First mod ever on my 2 week old M2! Thanks to mks who suggested this Console Organizer in the Best Accessories under 100$? thread.

For those who miss the lower left cubby in the M3/4, which was perfect for sunglasses, this is a perfect alternative to keep them separate from the other stuff in your center console without damaging them.

I’ll try to do proper presentation in builds section at some point.
New things done:

Car wrapped in Aubergine Purple, incl door jambs and front splitter
CF roof was PPFed
AA catted downpipes
Upgrde chargepipes
RGB DRLs (yellows for sale)
CF grille and front inserts
Muffler painted black
Rigakit roundels
Taillight tint
Dashcam instal 2ch w/hardwire

Please forgive gimmicky purple DRL, it’s for effect. Good news, I can do any color.
what DRL mod did you get? How is the install? How's the reliability?

I'm trying to get a set of RGB DRL's as well.

Think they were being sold by rg sport at the time. Not sure if they still carry those. There are more options now from many retailers but guessing it’s essentially same unit.
Instal is straightforward but I had the shop do it. Unlike the yellow drl, you need to tap into power for rgb lights for the Bluetooth controller to work. You tap into the wire going to headlights. Mine have been working 1+ year now. Now issues, including Bluetooth connectivity.

Thanks. I noticed you're also from NJ. What shop did the work for you? And how much $ was it?

I use TSD Motorsports in south NJ. In north Jersey you have places like autocouture motoring.
Too long ago to remember how much and lots of other work at the time.

Just ordered this skid plate as well as the complete Zunsport lower grill and side grill covers. This car should have been equipped with things from the factory IMHO.

Evening gents. Just installed a midpipe, a Match amp in the trunk, skid plate for the oil cooler, then coded out ASD. Now I'm in the process of trying to tune the amp for optimal sound. Next up will be the grill guard and the downpipes I have laying in the garage

What was the procedure to get the car on 4 jack stands? Did you use the center jacking points? If so, what did you use to protect the rear diff? One jack, or two?
Thanks!

Drive onto a couple blocks of wood to raise the front slightly, center jack point on the front first, raise the front of the car, get the two front stands under the car on the side. Jack from the diff, I use a lil block of wood but I've jacked straight from the diff for years and never had a problem so I think it's over kill. Stands under the rear jack points and you're good to go.

Square 19” VFX in Gloss Black from Volare Forged Wheels wrapped in 275/35 Continental Extreme Contact Sport 02 tires. Fitment looks way better than stock and I’m excited to get them out on track this Spring.

Didn’t take any pics, but I swapped out my AA EL for the 2nd Gen AA EL midpipe. I took advantage of their upgrade program where they allow you to trade in your old one and pay a small fee for the upgrade. It comes with a couple small resonators in each pipe. I think it sounds much better than the 1st Gen. Smoother and a little deeper to my ears.
