I can check for you in the AM. I believe they’re the same though.

Waiting on a Cold Air Intake and Midpipes oh and the car. Stockpiling is addictive.

You can just swap the stock tires onto aftermarket wheels. Even though I’ll be running half an inch wider wheel in the rear they still will fit fine.

Thanks for getting back to me. I haven't actually ever taken them out. I had cognac in my M240i and thought they'd look strange, so I never installed them.

I did take out all the other trip and it was easy, but I did use a couple of pry tools.

No problem. It’s the same part, yes? They look and feel nice, do wish they had a bit more cushion/padding though.

I installed a BMW first aid kit in the trunk. This is an older model (box is still available) designed as an underseat mount. I installed it upside down, and it slides out of a bracket that is screwed to the floor board.

I have to check the part number when I get home. I'll reply once I have a chance to look.

Considered this. Went with new tires instead. I'm a Continental fan so it will be interesting to see if the Extremecontact Sport 02's can outperform the Michelins. I may have an extra set of Michelins for sale with 3000 mi on them.

Same. I like the RGBW's... green for Christmas, red for 4th of July, purple for the Kings games...

Curious to hear your comparisons. Surprised you're giving up that win with the tire lottery!

Couldn’t find Shell 93 in any of the Shell stations in Golden, Revelstoke and Salmon Arm last week, 91 only available, although $0.30 per litre more expensive at those stations than 93 is in Calgary.

Mine just went under 90 range and I learned how annoying it is that the car keeps reminding me and asking if I want it to find a gas station on the map. And then abruptly cuts power when below a certain range too. As if the car has no trust in us drivers lol

When in Alberta I normally prefer Husky’s 94 (or is it 93?) as it’s the one that made the most power in my tuned 135i. I assume the M2 won’t make more power since it’s stock.

I my mind and experience, for power:
1- Husky
2- Shell 93
3- Chevron 94

Chevron is the best for fuel consumption, as it’s 100% gasoline. I should stop being stubborn with the M since I don’t think it makes more power on the stock tune and start using Chevron again.
Since last Dec all fuel in Canada has at least 5% ethanol in it, based on mandate by province, due to the Clean Fuel regulations. I would think Chevron 94 is compliant. I know Shell gradually converted all their fuel last year to ethanol blends: https://www.canada.ca/en/environment...ons/about.html.

I found in Alberta last year when they started the conversion at Shell that they didn’t always put a sticker on the pump showing ethanol in the fuel. They may have given up doing that, now that it is mandated. On my Caterham I can tell the difference through logging my wideband Lambda readings when on 100% gasoline vs E10, due to my Lambda fuel ratio dropping from 0.86 to 0.88 at full throttle.
