I ain’t got nothing for ya man. That’s why I was recommending Ravenseal’s. I didn’t get one from the port like he did. I also haven’t seen anyone else post one that got the MPHAS unless I missed it. He may have just gotten lucky. Originally I felt like something was off on my alignment and it also took longer than I anticipated to settle, which was I wanted it checked. The more I drove it (and not my other cars) I realized it was fine and I loved how it settled.

It's going back soon.
I definitely wouldn't be going back or returning to this shop. If they messed up your alignment & said you needed it to begin with, who know what else they may alter & adjust when it simply doesn't need it...

Any other markets get those besides Germany?

Is it purely customer demand and if so, why do Germans prefer them?
Thanks for the compliment on the M2!

I am not certain the other markets that have such a choice in fabric for the seats. This combination is the base set up for the seats and I was quite pleased to see this.

I was offered an M235 with this some years ago new and I did not take it. This time I would not make the same mistake lol We both like the non powered seats.

We have quite similar driving position and the adjustment is fast and easy with this seat model.
This type of choice is common when ordering in Germany overall.

My friends at the dealer who work there prefer this as its quite grippy when driving. Not so hot in the summer, or cold in the winter when compared to leather. Im tired of leather and the care it demands and if its scratched its almost ruined!

Porsche offers similar fabric called Race-Tex in black or grey colors with the Cayman line or Lederausstattung / Sitze Sport-Tex for the 911 line.

I can finally contribute to this thread! Today I picked up my M2 from the dealership. It had port installed MP HAS and ACE 3.0. I had the dealer install the MP Alcantara armrest and seat backs with high gloss carbon fiber. I think they were nice touches.

I also purchased the Alcantara knee pads in the MP catalogue but they did not fit. That's unfortunate because I thought they looked cool in the pictures.

The seats look beautiful. How much were they and is there a list of what's available somewhere? I placed an order for my car last week, but won't be here until the end of November or so. Got some time to look at things I might want to add.

Tool kit

What I GOT for my M2 today -

Since there is no under floor storage like I had in my F82 (so handy), I got a tool bag for the miscellaneous emergency and other stuff. This one was just the right size for me; has pockets inside and out for smaller stuff. I carry: Jack, 18" breaker bar with lug socket, wheel hangers, tire plug kit w/ misc. tools, extra warning triangle, flares, plastic gloves, rain poncho, Space blankets, microfiber cloths. For trips I would also have a compact spare (hence the need for the wheel/tire tools). I keep the mobility kit next to the battery.

Ordered tires. Rears coming next week. Fronts coming this week.

Fronts: PS4S
Rears: Atturo AZ850DR (literally the only drag radials available at this time...Nittos backordered until end of Dec 2023 at best).

Received my Tre cf spoiler yesterday.

Oh wow! Congrats on the Vossens. Those are some big boy wheels. What diameter and width are the rears?

Sorry for 100 questions, just very interested in getting info on radials for the future.

Nice kit. I've been meaning to build one for my X3 M without RFT's & with the M-mobility kit too.

Can you show picture of the knee pads and explain why they didn’t fit?

I cannot. I had one of the BMW technicians do the install. But later on I started thinking that maybe it's because mine is a manual and the part is for the auto.

In case anyone was wondering and want a more aggressive wheel setup.

Two piece wheels.

Front: 19x9.5 +5 offset - stock tires PS4S

Rear: 20x11 +8 offset - 305/30/20 Toyo r555

Was worried that the 305s would fit but they do perfectly.

Unfortunately, the front wheels hit on the brake caliper so I have to go up to a 20 inch wheel in the front.

So if you plan on running two piece wheels, just know that the inner barrel is too small on a 19 inch wheel.

Here’s the video.

Congrats on the car, unfortunately, you're making me look at that damn arm rest now. It's beautiful. Welcome to the G87 club, car turned out fantastic.

I was looking at these and maybe some HRE 507s since they look pretty much the same. I think these type of wide spoke wheels would look pretty damn great on a G87 given how it looks like a DTM race car. Please post some more pics if you can. These are dope.

Did you consider going with the GS-5 instead of the GT-5 so you could stay with 19s in the front? Less expensive, and I'm guessing lighter, but I know not exactly the same look.

I did actually but I opted to go for the two piece with the visible hardware.
