It may also be possible to turn the stock emblem into a black one by sanding off the nickel-like finish, although it could have a different base plastic than the normal black plastic, but removing it should show that.

Any recommended brands for the “toffee wheel”? I saw the 3M but it’s around $50. Quite high for a one time use(in my case).

I used this one, worked fine: BGS 3999 | Foil eraser | Ø 90 mm | including adapter | for drills, cordless screwdrivers, straight grinders

It's worth the difference in price. The cheap Chinese knockoffs will break apart and pieces will go flying, and they will just wear down 3x as fast. The 3M is worth the money since it will last substantially longer anyway.

Don't cheap out on already relatively cheap tools. You get what you pay for in that area.

Yeah, unless someone recommends another brand I will stick with 3M.

I got the cheap $9.99 one from Amazon (delivered in 5 hours) and it worked fine for my spoiler residue, which was pretty thick.

Keep an eye on any leaks from diff drain or fill plugs as some have posted they experienced this after break in… bit of confusion about exact torque spec for these bolts and it’s 45 NM (not 60NM as stated in some places)

Thanks...and yes, I am neurotic anyway. While anything is possible from any tech however my dealership does a high volume of M sales so they should know what they are doing.

Installed Future Classic wheel spacers, 15F & 12R, per IND's recommendation (stock wheels and suspension). Sidewall bulge flushes out with top of arch now - I like them. Will get proper offset wheels next year.
