Installed the Mishimoto skid plate/oil cooler protection today Was not too difficult, but do need to still replace one of the nylon inserts that stripped out. A side benefit is it provides much more secure mountinbg for my Sto n Sho plate bracket, replacing the screws with 6mm bolts into the threads in the piece.

Because they look like complete ass on a “performance car”. I don’t think there are as many people out there not wanting to “drive an SUV ever” as there are those that can’t afford both so compromise and throw roof racks on their performance car, trying to do it all. Most sane people wouldn’t put one on there unless they absolutely had to, especially not for looks. Idk why you don’t just throw one on your Bronco sport 😉

Sometimes you just need to carry stuff on the performance car:

I did it for the looks, but eventually someone is going to get a steal in the member classified section when I get bored of the look.
Im local and am actually looking for a rack for my road bike when I get my M2 (hopefully in a month or two), PM me once you’re bored of it, I’d be happy to get the steal

Of course it is an ugly bugger, but it is the reason we call the G87 “The Shopping Car” and the Macan “The Bus”

Thanks. I love the yellow headlight thingers you have I’ve been thinking it might look good on white.

It also crosses my mind that the current light looks cool and I’m very lazy. It’s easier to do nothing- but it looks sharp! very tempting

Thanks! I think the yellow would look pretty darn good on the white exterior!

They are pretty easy to install. Just the hassle of pulling off the wheels and the inner fender liner. The DRL module is right there. You do have to loosen the headlights a little in order to get the heat sink out. Went slow on the first one and the second one took me 10 minutes.

Really bad take on this. Why do you care so much about someone else's car look? Focus on your own.

Complete and Caterham factory warrantied in 2013. Some mods since then from a suspension and ECU perspective. Currently rebuilding the engine to 250bhp (R500) spec, due to original R400 210bhp engine with 10,000 track / 30,000 road km on it suffering valve spring failure and smashing a valve into multiple pieces at a track day in June.

A gloss black Thule would look awesome on that. Probably not the best for aero, but would look sweet!
