Kept as extras. I wasn’t really sure why they were included since everything required was already installed.

Yep agreed. I compared them outta pure curiosity. Same size and contact patch, same material etc. The instruction to replace them may be assuming existing mats are old and discs possibly worn and not brand new?

I kind of thought the same thing. Maybe over time, you will need to replace them if you frequently take them out. Velcro last a long time though.

How thick are they? Are they very thick?.

I have them in another BMW and it's a pleasure to get into it without worrying about dirtying the car, they clean with water without a problem.

They are hefty/ sturdy without feeling clunky if that makes sense. Feet feel more planted, I would venture to guess total depth is less than the carpet.

Edit. Carpet mats are about 1/2", these are closer to 1/4".

No problem. I found when ordering there is a pickup at your local dealership option that saves like $15 on shipping if you are anywhere near your dealership, just FYI. They were available for pickup the next morning.

Started to try and 3d print some wheel spacers to mockup some test fitments. V1 is printing at 15mm so we’ll see when I get my car how they work out. I posted a thread in the suspension/wheels forum if anyone has any dimensioned drawings…just want to see what I like the best before I buy any wheels or spacers.

Dropped in 50th anniversary puddle lights. Obviously it’s a bit silly, but goes with my badges, center caps, and plate frames.

Did you get the ones that say this at the website?:
BMW All-Weather Floor Mats Front 48V

Not sure what the 48v has to do with floor mats.

Yea they do reference 48v. It verifies vehicle for fitment as part of it.

Alpha-N wing installed today. Absolutely love it

Paint matched the lip portion of it and left the edge exposed carbon.

I can't see shit out of my rearview lol. Never seen a wing block it so much

Nerviously waiting for the tint installation. Got 3M Ceramic IR at 30%. Liked the 25% shade better but had concerns with visibility due to my eyesight at night. Hope it looks good. Pictures later.

Got some 826m wheels on the car, which I’m honestly surprised at the difference the weight saving makes while driving.
