It is on pre order again right now. I’ve been waiting two weeks for mine.

I managed to catch a screw in my driver front tire and a bolt in my passenger rear tire, all within 1000 miles of ownership. Unbelievable bad luck. I barely drive the car outside of going to the coffee shop and the train station. So I threw on my winters and bringing the summers to the dealer to replace. I wasn't sure about them at first, but I'm really digging the 829m wheels on the G87! They're 275 35 R 19 square set up, though two of the tires were identified as "rear" though I'm not sure why.

My mechanic was impressed and he has seen damage lately on other BMW models with exposure such as the M2. He does feel this is an issue that should be addressed by BMW. Porsche has exposure to radiators as well. Certainly not limited to BMW of course.

Just placed an order for thjs oil cooler. Wasn’t going to shell out $800 for one - this looks like a great option. Comes to $187 with shipping for those interested in the states

Like the wheel itself is wider than the front, but they’re all wrapped in 275/35/R19? I put them side by side with the front and honestly couldn’t tell a difference, but I put the ones labeled “rear” on the back anyway.

Not sure what you got but I would be skeptical at that price. The CSF oil cooler with rock guard is $599 at IND.

I’m referencing the oil cooler cover OP posted a picture of in the post. Higher price doesn’t always correlate with higher quality, we’ll see when it comes in.

BMW has used this flawed design for years. They had them on the last gen M cars as well. If BMW wanted to address the issue, they could have done so on this latest gen of M cars. You had the right idea taking the matter into your own hands.

Gotcha. Your post says you bought an oil cooler, not a guard (big difference). What I was referring to is an aftermarket upgraded oil cooler (needed for tune) that happens to come with a rock guard.

Additionally the Zunsport oil cooler screen was installed. The radiator side screens and main middle screen were already installed by me.

The new Michelin Pilot Alpin 5(PA5) were nice immediately. Felt very very smooth and comfortable. Hope we have a short winter! Will be in and out of Dubai so not all bad.......
That lift is awesome. I want one of those in my garage >_>

All good (you see why I was questioning an actual oil cooler for $187).

Awesome. I'll have to find a way to mark them because I don't think I would have noticed at all haha. Thanks!

I normally mark all my wheels when they come off with a wax crayon on the inside barrel of the wheel on a clean spot. "LF, RF, LR, RR" for the positions corresponding to left, right, front and rear as appropriate.

Does Installing this oil cooler screen under the car, allow to remove the ORM plastic lip under the front bumper ?

Will try to find it on a website!

None of the US cars I have seen posted show that under bumper 'lip' or 'rub strip'...

is that correct?

Watched your vid. Your right subtle but noticeable and convenient if you want the exhaust while in comfort.

I think that’s correct but I can’t figure out why… also that’s disgusting IMO, so this will leave my car as soon as I take delivery!
