I purchase the carbon fiber Roundels from IND. When I flipped them over I noticed they were different on the back. I am concerned about the different tabs. Any thoughts? Thanks

No idea about the tabs, but I'd like to know the quality? They seem pretty good? A friend of mine said they're great, OEM quality but another opinion never hurts.

You own a G42 2-Series so those roundels are identical to the ones that are on your car. G87 M2 takes different roundels.

Left one is for your hood and the right one is for your trunk. The green tab is to remove the cover that will expose the adhesive tape, just like OEM has.

Anything I have ever purchased from IND has been top quality. Their packaging is beyond compare. The Roundels are no exception. They are not inexpensive but they are going on a my vehicle. They now come ceramic coated which I believe was an option in the past. That adds to the cost. Here is a picture.

Agreed and mine are just as yours (cant take pictures at the moment as car is getting a facelift). For those that dont know, they are hand painted, not mass produced.

Are those the carbon roundels? Been thinking about getting them but, those look WAY less carbon fiber than the images online. Maybe it's just a bad picture angle?

Had my CT carbon lip spoiler painted body color.

Don’t mind the fit, I just put it on top of the stock trunk lip to get a feel for how it looks.

It’ll be installed properly. But I’m Very happy with the outcome!

Looks great! I'm on the hunt for a body-color rear spoiler.

I installed iSpeed 1500 brake pads front & rear this afternoon.
Looking forward to no more nasty brake dust.

How was it switching the pads? I assume you did it yourself? I normally do my own brake work, but I’ve never done an M before. I intend to do mine when they need it.

It's pretty simple & straight forward. The fronts require the removal of the caliper which was different than my wife's '22 X3MC. The rears require removal of the parking brake "motor". Two t-5 screws and it comes off, use. T-45 to retract the piston. You have to carefully remove and reinstall the brake wear sensor on the front driver's and rear passenger brake pad. Simply pop it off with a flat head screw driver.

I remove the parking brake on the rears before removing the caliper bolts contrary to various youtube videos out there.

Thanks very much for the insight and explanation! Doesn’t sound that bad, really.

Took me about 40 min total jacking up one corner at a time, removing the wheel swapping pads, reinstalling the wheel. That also included pulling up Youtube to see if I was missing anything on the front calipers because they wouldn't come off. Then I just grabbed the rubber mallet and went to work

On the wear sensors, the wire is very thin, make sure not to tug on it. You can see the brackets the wire is connected to, just pop it out of the brackets to give you more slack. Then use a flathead at the front of the sensor where it snaps into the pad. It'll pop right off & you won't damage the sensor. Snap it on to the new pad, slide it back into the brackets, reinstall the caliper.

Torque values I found online were 81 ft/lbs for front caliper bolts & 22 ft/lbs rear bolts. Not sure if those are accurate, but they are the only values I found.

I've had these pads on my wife's X3MC for 6k miles now & they're great! They stop as well as or better than oem & have reduced the dust by 98-99%.

Here's both vehicles after a little more than 2 weeks and 500+ miles since washing both. Her's with the iSweep 1500 pads and mine with oem. The difference in dust is amazing.

Went in for PPF check up and installation of yellow DRLs, reflector deletes and zunsport screen. Can finally drive without worrying about another rock.

Here is a before and after of the ISweep 2000s. First pic is 2.5 weeks after wash on stock pads. Second pic is the ISweep pads in the same time interval. Just daily driving on city streets about 15 miles a day.

Wrap in progress, should be done this weekend. I know this green won't be for everyone but I wanted to swap out from ZB.

Carbon mirror covers will get installed once I bring the car back home.
