On the wear sensors, the wire is very thin, make sure not to tug on it. You can see the brackets the wire is connected to, just pop it out of the brackets to give you more slack. Then use a flathead at the front of the sensor where it snaps into the pad. It'll pop right off & you won't damage the sensor. Snap it on to the new pad, slide it back into the brackets, reinstall the caliper.

Torque values I found online were 81 ft/lbs for front caliper bolts & 22 ft/lbs rear bolts. Not sure if those are accurate, but they are the only values I found.
WOW! 40 mins is insanely fast. You’ve done them before! Thanks for the tips. It will come in handy when I need to do mine.

The X3MC was the easiest pad swap I've ever done, took me less than 30 min. Removing the front calipers on the M2 isn't difficult, just an extra step. Only need basic tools:
17mm socket for the lug bolts
Jack & jack stand (though I didn't use a jack stand because I didn't have the corner up very long).
14mm socket for the front caliper bolts.
13mm socket, 17mm open end wrench, t-5 bit & t-45 for the rear calipers.
Torque wrench to torque everything back down.

* you will probably get a parking brake malfunction message pop up on the screen after you drive once. Put the car in park, engage the parking brake, let it sit, release parking brake & message goes away.

Awesome! Good to know. I had an n54 engine, so I have ALL the tools and spent a lot of time with them. 😀

I have the carbon fiber interior pkg also and the trim around the center air vents and around the radio button is piano black. Just BMW being cheap on the cf pkg. Was the same in my wife's X3MC with carbon fiber pkg, only certain parts are carbon fiber and the rest was either piano black or silver. So I had to buy cf pieces online to replace those.

Yeah I did the DRLs, spacers, and reflector delete myself (and at the same time since I had to take the wheels off).

The DRLs are really straightforward. Just lots of screws to remove. One tip is make sure you loosen the headlight screw under the hood enough, and the DRL comes right out. Blasted through the second one.

Spent the better part of an hour cleaning brake dust off the wheels then knocked out the rest of my break-in miles with a drive up the California coast.
