Can't believe this. Was catching up on the thread and saw the post of everything you did to your car literally the day before it got totaled. Had the same thing happen to my e46 parked outside of a restaurant years ago. Came out to find it was hit and run on the drivers side fender, pushed up onto curb with a bent parking meter under it and the side of the car pressed up against a tree. Was sick to my stomach and at a loss for words. The driver managed to hit several other cars and even took out a tall wrought iron fence before fleeing the scene. They were never caught either.

It was a terrible experience, so I know exactly what you're going through. I feel for you and wish you the best of luck getting things sorted.

Wrapping jambs ain’t cheap for sure, and quite labor intensive. Doors come off etc. crazy how many codes the car threw for removing doors. G87 got very unhappy.

But yeah, guys at TSD Motorsports & Wraps did a stellar job. Leo even wrapped the hinges. It’s nice not seeing the blue every time you open the door.

I really tried with the Zandvoort blue for 6 months. Wife loves that color. In the end it didnt feel right for me or the car. BMW should really open this car up for individual colors.

What y’all think about the wrapped front lip?

The story goes that I cracked the CF lip a week before the wrap. Ordered a new CF lip (on back order). In meantime, figured I’d have them wrap the cracked lip body color and see what that’s like.
I think it has quite the presence.

This is insane how the hell did they hit a PARKED car hard enough to total it??? I'm so sorry to hear this! Hopefully investigation leads to the culprit but damn.

FWIW, I personally prefer to keep the carbon fiber showing, but mostly because it keeps the whole car cohesive, since you have the sideskirts and stuff too.

It definitely looks good body colored as well, but prefer it to be the same all the way around.

Also, which lip/side skirts did you purchase?

I'm generally one for a bit of contrast, but I think it looks great. Looks like it's built in to the front fascia and not an add-on part.

They should have had a better release color than ZB. They should have also had the individual colors for this car (this has been discussedbut dont recall if Mexicois even set up to do it), even if a limited selection...I will be a little unhappy if they do open it as there is no way I would be starting over at this point.

I’m of the same mind, so I kept the order for replacement lip. This is cool but I’d prefer carbon.
What people say about cf lips on lowered cars is all true. Either don’t, or keep a spare in the garage.

Lip and rear diffuser are expensive a$$ MHC pieces.
Sidesskirts are my attempt at retrofitting old RKP F80 sideskirts.

DRL are Bluetooth RGB. Really fun. I thought going yellow was transformative. This is another level of fun. At least my 6yo thinks so.

Motorsport+ yellow DRLs available for sale if anyone wants.
