If you are thinking you will be running anywhere near 700whp on flex/E fuel, you should do it now.

Im on a 93 octane stage 2 at 650+ whp with heat exchanger, oil cooler, trans cooler, colder plugs and highflow catted downpipes. Wouldn't think of trying to get to this power with all the upgrades. Numbers are great but keeping the engine happy is more important. Eventuri intake going in next week (just drop in BMCs for now).

I am on 305/30/20 Atturo AZ850DRs drag radials and when its cool out and tires not heated, they will break loose at a blink of an eye (once heated, they stick). I do have the 555r2s waiting to go on later this spring.

In a perfect world I'd build the whole thing at one time. Unfortunately I don't have unlimited resources and I'm already about $45k into this car, I've spent ~$7k in the last week, and doing all the stuff I mentioned is another $11k. (Yes, I really plan and track all of this stuff with excel lol.) I only got the car in July.

Need to take a break on spending for a month or two. Not planning on launching this car at every light or anything like that. We'll take it slow and hopefully I can do all that stuff before the summer gets here.

Understand completely. I got the car on August 31 and build started at ~2,000 miles. My builder wouldn't tune it if I didn't have everything on it. Including rims and tires, I am am over $40k in all mods (including paint correction, ppf, ceramic and tint).

PPF was a stinger! The most expensive single thing I've done to this car and it's nearly invisible. Pretty ironic.

Who build/tuned your car?

Yeah, the paint correction, ppf and ceramic is a killer. Need to do it and after its done, car is still bone stock.

Builder is a friend of mine with over 30 years under his belt. Tune was done by DME Tuning.

Agreed especially on ZB. They were gone very quickly on mine. I find the rears less offensive so haven't found the need to replace those yet.

Even with just the RaceChip the car could spin up to 60. Hopefully these 315/40r18 NT555R2s put a stop to that.
I ran 315/35/20 555r2 on the previous Mustang running e85. Those things could hook power but also handle dd like rain etc so best of both worlds. Only set back is tread life since they start already so far down but is expected on a DR.

I actually love the rears. It was the front ones that had to go.

For those rear caliper M clips, is the aftermarket the only way to get those? When I picked up my car I pointed out to my sales rep that those clips are missing. He asked around and came back to tell me those should be there and they will order some which will be covered via warranty. It's been almost 3 weeks and no update.

I actually called BMWUSA about it and after them making sure internally it is indeed discontinued for all M cars 2024 and up. But he did say it has nothing to do with incompatibility so it's safe for me to attach one. Some people here was able to get it through there sales peeps as a favor. It looks like something is missing there so I opted to buy it. I might add I was able to install it without taking off the wheels. But did some bending with the notches behind to put it in securely. If you just pop it in it will be wiggling and might come loose later.

(you can get them at any BMW dealer on line, not aftermarket part number 34-20-6-881-294)

For the door projector and M Slides 63-31-2-469-631 and 63-31-2-463-924

Sorry, stupid question: do you need to order two of those clips, or just add quantity 1 to the cart? Want to clarify before ordering as I've made this mistake before a few times and over-ordered things....

Hopefully your salesman is more competent than mine. They promised me the clips when I picked up the car first week of November. Just last week, nearly three months later, I finally got the clips from them. I must have exchanged 20 texts and two calls with the guy to get my hands on the clips. This dude had the audacity to tell me to text him on X day at Y time to remind him to go check if they had them in the parts department then proceeded to forget every time I asked him. End or rant.

Anyway, all that is to say that it might be a little while.
