So the Glovis Sirius just left Jacksonville. Next stop... Philadelphia???

Yet my car is getting off at Newark...

So I'm literally going to see the ship my car is on at the port, 10 minutes away from my apartment. Then it will go back down to Maryland... maybe South Carolina... then backtrack up to Newark and get off there.

How tf does that make sense. My dealer is also way closer to Philly than Newark.

It shows it going from Philly, then to Baltimore, then possibly another stop or not and THEN back up to Newark?

Yeah looks like it. Going by to talk to my CA tomorrow. I wouldn't be surprised based on how it blew by Jacksonville, went to Brunswick, hung out for 30 hours on the water, then went back down to Jacksonville. Only plausible thing is that Baltimore port is full so it will backtrack. But it's definitely going to Baltimore, and another person said they are in Florida but their port of exit is Baltimore. So Jacksonville is full, so they got rerouted to Baltimore exit, but that's also full?? Wtf is going on

If you don't hear from me, it's because I went to mission impossible my car off the boat at Philly port and may have ended up in jail. Or I'm driving back down to Mexico in my new car for my great escape

I am one that has a car on the ship, my port is Brunswick and my dealership is in South Florida (as am I). I have a feeling they are or have been full so they crazy delivery itinerary is to allow time for the port to get some space opened up. Not sure if you are commenting not being offloaded in Jacksonville but BMW no longer uses Jax as one of their ports (I was told it was Jacksonville's doing as it was causing a space issue).

So, I'm learning from all of you that just because your dealer is closer to Port "A" does not mean its going to Port "A". I think Power Rob tried to explain that to me yesterday. I will definitely have to reach out to my CA today to find out. He is awful at getting back to me and I usually have to follow up a couple times before I get an answer.

Mine switched to "in transit" status code 195 at some point early this morning, so looks like I did indeed make it onto the Grand Choice. I am not sure the timing works like this, but mine was in "ready to transport" since 7/25.

Your POA (Port of Arrival) is on your Order Sheet. It’s a 6 character code ending in POA in the upper right.

Did you verify with your CA or through the online tracker?

Just the online tracker. Jumped passed the awaiting carrier assignment, dispatched from factory and at the port directly to in transit. I last checked the status about 1am EST and then again about 7am. Did F12 in the browser to get production code.

Nice! Mine still shows Ready for Transport but I’ll ask my CA tomorrow as he is bad about getting back with me.
Car was finished on 7/3

Woke up this morning to find mine at the same status, in transit, per the website.

Yesterday my CA said he was still showing it at the factory (finished production on July 4) so mildly excited lol. I'll believe it when I see the car with my own eyes

We're all right around the same timeframe, maybe they'll meet. What is the vessel name you're referring to?

The Grand Choice. Been moored in Veracruz for over 24 hours at this point I think.

Since the 8th, which seems like a very long time for a RoRo, but that port is pretty chaotic from what others have posted here.

Its nice to hear BMW is now trying to get these MY23s on a ship but that is all well and good however it doesn't change the fact to the delays and crazy ship itinerarys due to the destination ports being iver crowded and not able to take 100% delivery when the ship is there and should be offloading.

So my CA confirmed my POA is NOT Philly. So annoyed. He said he’d be shocked if the ship goes back down to MD, but it definitely is.

It shows as BAYONNE arrival now, not Newark anymore. Est date is showing 8/16. No idea wtf is going on with these ships.
