Torque Vectoring and a Power-sliding Electric Supercar
I didn't see this posted yet, definitely big news for the future. We'll be able to tell our children and grandchildren when this technology was being developed.

I watched this yesterday, it was very intriguing how they implemented 4 separate motors, one for each wheel, instead of the way Tesla for example is doing it.
It's similarly interesting that the life expectancy of the battery is an impressive 10 years. They mention a range of a 200 km, but they don't mention what sort of time it takes to fully recharge the batteries. Filling up your tank takes very little time, it shouldn't take more than that to recharge batteries to get people seriously consider an electric car. |

Electric motors, both DC and AC induction, do offer the opportunity for very precise and fast control. It's harder to control an IC engine because of moving parts like throttle plates and whatnot.
Cool stuff. Electric drive cars should offer better control, for sure.
