V1 radar detector and Toyota Sienna Laser Cruise Control
I have V1 in my E90, everytime I see infiniti/volvo with laser cruise controls, my V1 laser will beep...
I am seriously considering 2013 Toyota Sienna Limited, with Laser Cruise control. I want to know if my V1 will beep because of the Toyota Sienna Laser cruise control... It will be annoying of the V1 will always beep with toyota laser cruise control Thanks

I feel your pain. I cannot use my V1 in the wifeys Honda Ody due to the gotdam blind spot monitoring. I can only assume the deluxe sienna will have this along with the laser cruise.

Any vehicle with LED tail lights is going to drive the V1 bonkers. Audi's are the absolute worst. Pulling up on them you will start picking up anywhere from 3-8 threats on Ka band. And yes of course anything that uses laser will set off laser if you happen to catch it.
You should be fine inside the vehicle using the laser guided cruise, it emits forward, so it shouldn't affect your V1. |

As long as it doesn't reflect backward off of vehicles in front of you, you should be fine. I get out of the Line of Sight of Infiniti's faster than I do for cops now because of their laser... extremely annoying.

It's not just that model, most high-end Mercedes', BMW's, and Audi's would trigger mine too. I put it in a different mode and all is well.

bimmerfak,
Just the sienna limited... SUV's are too small if hauling 6 college cheerleeders with their luggage/stuff for 3 days... you have to see the interior/captains chair of sienna limited to appreciate it... but its still a minivan... lol beleive me, my wife who will be primary driver for the van do not like any minivan, but after showing her the interior and seats of sienna limited... she is sold!
