Ordered my C7
Super Excited!
Here are the options: 1LT Coupe Laguna Blue 7 Speed Manual Transmission Jet Black, Leather seating surfaces with sueded microfiber inserts Performance Exhaust Competition Seats MSRP 58,680 Work GM Discount Supplier Price: 53,498 before negotiations The C7 is really good for the price. I keep seeing reviews comparing it the the 911, and its half the price. I was originally getting an M235, but with the tech package, LSD, it was the same price as the C7. At this point I wanted something sporty. BMW is a sports coupe, but the C7 is a sports car. I don't need 4 seats at the moment, as I am a single male. Some other things that swayed me over: -The 7 speed manual + cylinder deactivation (v4 mode) makes it have better MPG highway than the M235i manual, which I drive mostly highway. -IMO the new C7 is gorgeous inside and out! and I have NEVER been a fan of american cars, but the C7 has changed me - Real, OEM sport bucket seats for a good price - standard things, such as standard bluetooth streaming, etc, that BMW loves to charge for - performance for price Here are some pics of what she will look like! (not mine)! Note: My budget was 50k, I went a little over, but I'm ok, just no money for mods. I didn't get the Z51 package because the discount doesn't apply for that, so I would be paying 60k which is wayy over. I don't plan on tracking the car extensively Some picsnot mine) Exterior (just color, this one is Z51 package): Interior: [IMG]

Great choice and excellent color. Would love to hear your review of it after you get it and compare a bit with recent bmws you've had. I'm also contemplating my next car to get when I head back to Vancouver. Would also be first time owning anything American but sounds exciting to give it a try. Stoked for you.

Also good you didn't get the Z51 package. I'd be surprised if you could live with it off the track.

Awesome color. That discount you got makes it silly to get the M235 over this. I like the leather and suede interior.
Enjoy the car. Its fast enough that you're not going to need mods --for a few months. |

Z51 with mag ride is the proper way but it is expensive.

Very nice, yea get that baby on the highway on a trip and she sips gas, buy buddy down in the Dallas area has gotten 30+ MPG running at 75 with the speed control on, now he did say, mess with the long peddel on the right and that all changes, but so does the smile on his face.. LOL
Good luck with it, I'll be picking up the convertable, I just wanted to wait till the 2016's hit the SRF's.. Harry |
