720hp out of a 3.9L engine is sick!

It'll end up being quicker than a P1 around the track too. We live in some crazy times in the best possible way.

The 488 engine doesnt even rev to its claimed 8000 RPM's. Ferrari purposely limited it. Why? Clearly they dont trust the engine enough to wind it out to the claimed RPM peak but still good enough to win this prize.

Both the Pista and 720 have the exact same power numbers 710/568 from a 3.9L (what's up with that?) and their weights are within 100 lbs of each other. Should be a driver's race.

The 720s is underrated. It’s bhp output is closer to 800hp. Not sure I can say the same thing about the 488 Pista (being underrated). Also, the 720s is using an enlarged version of the previous 3.8L engine and is up to 4.0L now.

The Pista is beautiful and will be one heck of a car, it is what the GTB should have been from the start but IMV Ferrari has been somewhat complacent until McLaren kicked them in the ass. The 720 will eat the Pista, and the 750LT due out in ~2 1/2 years will crush everything else. I plan to have both but not sure which I will keep. I have a late delivery (Q4 19') Pista pending and a spot for the LT. I got pushed out on the Pista because I canceled my Lusso order. BS Ferrari games... |

Based on dyno measurements this seems to be the case not to mention how it walks away from other cars with similar power. Of course aero and weight factor.
