Would assume they would be using a similar mount to these carbon tips for the M2C

Harder part I could imagine would be get off the stock ones which would probably need a mallet. Think it's easiest if you can get the car on a lift to do the removal and install of the tips.

While I agree 100%
The Bmw site currently has them listed fot the 240. They were never on that page before.

Assuming it's an error because when you Google the part number it's definitely the round ones

Strange, I also see two different types of CF mirror caps and neither of the picture are what actually goes on the car.

I am much confuse.

All the G series use the same caps. So old pics but the caps are the same. Dealers choice if you want to the M wings or regular style

I want the M style ones, but for $2,000 I can't justify it. I can rationalize some crazy purchases, but I just can't do that one.

I can afford it, but it's the principal. For the same money I could buy MSS springs and Burger Tuning spacers, or a JB4+ and a AA DP. Those things at least make a marketable difference.

Hopefully I can grab some for cheap, I'd be willing to pay up to $1,000, and even that's pushing it.
