Order status and timeline

Just got word from my SA that I'm on the GLOVIS SUPERIOR and it is scheduled to make it to the US port on 10/1.

According to the tracking sites, it left Veracruz yesterday. I don't know the other stops it is going to make because I can't find any routing information. Can anyone else find it?

Weird- I guess I literally “missed the boat” since I’m still in ready for transport. Great news for you though!

There’s still a chance. I was Ready For Transport until the day after my car was actually on a boat.

CA told me I have been released to a carrier and I updated to in transit again on mygarage. CA told me scheduled for the 25th but it could arrive "anytime". Whatever that means. Hopefully he means sooner than the 25th not later !!

Mine shows in transit now too! Just confirmed I'm also on the Glovis Superior. Yes, it'll be in Brunswick GA on Oct. 1. Not sure the timing of ports after that but you can probably see timing from previous ships.

Finally picked it up tonight and it exceeds my expectations in looks and driving. I have to say, it looks great in pictures but BG and the TR interior look even nicer in person.

I will post some pics of my mods in a few days. Going to be driving around a fish bowl until my 10/18 tint appointment.

Just a quick update.

After more investigation it turned out that restrictions for 360 and recorder are for all G42 model including M Performance. Only M Performance in 3/4/5/7 series are excluded from restrictions.

Restrictions are on cars being built until end of December.

Problem with my order was that my dealer accepted the removing 360 and recorder without talking to me. That's the reason it got VIN, status 150 and was scheduled to be produced on Monday.

So there was only one thing to be done - stand tall.

I cancelled my order, and made a new one with production date for January.

It will be very long and sad winter for me, but I figured that it is better to wait than to have a tech like on previous models.

Did you ever find out what the huge delay was about? We were being built ~the same time and I got mine 6 weeks ago!

My wife has a 330i on order in same color combo

No, I think it was waiting for transport to NY/NJ port, or possibly options shortages -- are you fully loaded?

Thank you. I requested no detail and to leave the plastic on everything but of course my CA was off the day my car arrived so it got plastic removed and detailed. It came out nice and am fine with the detail - main concern was that they didn't drill plate holes in the front bumper and didn't offer test drives to other customers. Really itching to get PPF on the front bumper. My buddy runs a shop and said full front end is around $3k for the best type of PPF/ceramic coated. Leaning towards $500 DIY precut xpel front bumper only.
