I've been week 42 since the start. I wonder why yours got bumped up to week 40. Are there any options you passed on? I pretty much have everything (Shadowline, leather seats / all others minus the drive recorder and brake/wheel/tire pack).

It was supposed to be delivered on the 19th but that obviously didn’t happen so just waiting to hear an update. The general manager at the dealership thinks it will come early this week. I hope it does. I feel like I’m the last m240 off RCC America at the Baltimore VPC still.

I saw it here (at least another BMG at Checkered Flag, but they whisked into the back for maintenance and prep. So no pictures.

Yeah, I expect it’ll be about 3 days behind schedule. I hope it will leave Freeport by the time Ian passes by northern Florida early Friday. It’s about a 3 1/2 day voyage.

I ordered mine on march 30th, first production was date wk 18, moved out many times, stuck on wk 41 after change to MY23, moved to wk 40.
I got my VIN and 150 status today!
I checked every single box on the option list, 100% loaded which may have caused some of the delays.

Vesselfinder says the Glovis Superior is now "underway" to Brunswick, and it just left the dock. Given Ian it may end up sitting still in the gulf for some time, but I'm not sure. But the site now shows Brunwick as the next destination. (And the site still lists October 1 as the arrival.)

Yup, my build is pretty bare bones (only added shadowline and ofc the forced M trim) so I'm sure that helped.

Status hasn't updated from production begins but BMW genius said it was due to complete by 10/3. Fingers crossed that's the case but I'm fully prepared to have to wait much longer.

Well it's finally the day my car arrives at the dealership.

315 days from order till I received it and man, this car is 100% worth the wait.

Side note: My friends at the dealership let me keep it with all the wrap & didn't clean it so that I could do it all myself

Updating my order timeline:

Sept 02 22: started contacting dealerships
Sept 07 22: order placed (status 112/modified dealer's pre-existing alloc) - Build week 41 promised
Sept 08 22: order received / status 105
Sept 23 22: Scheduled for production. M illuminated trim was auto added.
Sept 26 22: Production begins, vin was assigned.

Based on my searches, looks like Week 41 still stands (2 week lead time from production begins/vin)
Mine is with Parking pack/Drive record options just FYI for anyone worries about EOP date.

looks like stop sale will be for all of us that couldn't get the car delivered by late afternoon on Tuesday Sept 27. So agonizing to be this close and have to wait for BMW...again. CA said he had two X7's on the floor that were awaiting same fix. UGH

Was scheduled for pick up today! Then came the call last night about the stop sale. Devastating to say the least!

Would rather this way than to take delivery and have to return or something worse.

Any dealer compensation for this?

my dealer is reimbursing my travel costs to get to PC in Spartanburg, including the night stay on the way home (I was going to hit tail of the dragon on my way back to Wisconsin). I also asked if they would give me a deal on a winter tire set up...CA is checking with manager on that one.

MY SA just called me to tell me my car is included in the stop sale. Not sure if anyone else has heard differently but he said they are not expecting a fix to be ready until November potentially. He said take that with a grain of salt and hopefully they have it done sooner but that's the info he has. Not super happy at this point but what's another month when you've already been waiting six?
