Haha 😂.. i don't want to get in line… so, I am waiting for this to be up and can build my specs and ask dealer quotes that way which I did in the past.

as long as everyone knows the online configurator can be wrong about a lot of things. the only way to really verify anything is through your dealership and the actual ordering process

1) They didn't know the car was being built in Mexico. 2) They told me I would have a car in February. 3) My shop ordered me a car without Shadowline because they added the lighting package first, and if you do that, in the system, it does not let you order Shadowline. Or maybe it was the reverse order. The point it, whatever it was, they told me I couldn't have both. I showed them a few screenshots from the forums to educate them. Buyer beware!

From what I can tell their database servers have fully replicated. It's just a matter of them doing some simple webpage authoring and testing before publishing. I used to author websites in another life.
For those of you that were wondered how I got all the info and pixelated images prior to the reveal, it was very easy. I just looked at the webpage coding for US and EU websites and then parsed though to deciphered it. Once I had that figured out, I was able to alter the payload to submit custom queries against their backend database servers. That's how I could see what options were available, like the paint colors, interior colors, what leather was available, etc. Sorry for being so cagey when a few of you asked how I was getting everything. I didn't want to spill the beans and have BMW lock things down. You know they're watching us, even right now. Here are some examples showing the BMW USA website has fully replicated the M2 content on their US hosted servers. |

I would eliminate the option I dont like, if possible (in your case the gold strips). Or decide based on the side of the car I see the least. I assume/guess either of them can be changed afterwards… but which option is more feasible? I have no idea. Maybe someone here can help out. Still, the TR/Blackwheels will look really nice with the shadow line IMO.
