Hi G42 Fans,

Has anyone else experience iD7 continually resetting settings?

I've had:
- to reset my HUD height 3 times since new (April 2nd 2022)
- my remote start authorization deactivated
- my TPMS had to be repaired randomly
- my climate settings for heated seats/steering wheel to automatically turn on needed set at least twice

I do have the latest software that I'm aware of, completed the recent OTA update successfully, and I now have the M240 logo on the center display.

Make sure you have the right key and that your profile is loading. That got me at first. I was making changes, but they weren't staying, as I had the wrong key. Make sure you have the profile setup to map to the key also.

Then I noticed items like the Hud are tied to the seat position. You need to set the seat position again after HUD changes.

I have had a random seat & wheel heating issue, when it wasn't going on automatically after the last OTA, I changed the temp setting and then back to what I wanted, appears to be working fine now.

Remote start is always disabled after all OTA as I found out

TPMS is what is it, fine till it breaks, can happen to any car any time

^ Great call on the key. I always use the correct key as I have a specific keychain to designate which key is mine.

These issues are minor relative to other infotainment systems just slightly annoying.
