My M2 was always going to be AW, I didn't have to look at the other colours. With black wheels and carbon roof, it is perfect. The most classic M colour in my opinion. Just think how good the 1M looked in its day, in white.

But it's been more common and decided I didn't like it.

But in person BG ALWAYS looks darker and flatter. Even in the S FL sun. My within half mile from my house I have neighbors with an I4 and two X6's in BG and they look dark and flat compared to pics.

Of the M2 choices available... TR seems like the only color.

Speaking of neighbors, I am waiting on a PB M240i order and just last night after evening run what do I see a couple of houses where the I4 is... PB 230. There goes being unique in the neighborhood.
X6 didn’t come in BG until this upcoming LCI.

Brooklyn Grey & Toronto Red seem the most aggressive

My choice is still ZB. Which I consider a softer color
Purchase a CF lip, spoiler, mirror caps. And it'll add just the right amount of meanness

Saw all three in person. I'd rank them BG, ZB, TR. This surprised me because I liked TR the most in pictures. If I was to order, I would go ZB because it looked like a special color, haven't seen anything like it on a car before.

Wondered how long it would take one of our own to post these pictures...at least we got that out of the way.

This is a nice joke but seeing the two side by side it's actually completely different. And yes, there was an N car at Daytona. Close but no cigar

I have heard differentiating reports from those that were also in attendance at the Rolex 24.

And for old muscle car enthusiasts, in the lat 60s Chevy had Carolina Blue as an option on Camaros and Chevelles.

Therevare a lot of "close" and some very close (Porsche and Lambo colors come to mind).

The EXACT color BMW is using may be its own but there are numerous cars on the road with that similar looking color that ZB will not stand out as "different" than any other manufacturer's color.

Don't forget B5 Blue for Mopars.

Garage List
2023 M2  [8.33]
Out of the 3 you asked, I would 100% go with BG. It looks like a dynamic color, similar to HS on the F87. ZB looks too soft for me and I feel like that color isn't special enough, you can find similar shades on everything from Hyundais to Toyotas. TR looks like it could be interesting I suppose.

I honestly think I need to see the car in the flesh to make a better judgement. Some colors that look flat in pictures look completely different under natural light where you can see the depth of the lines on the car to really get the big picture.

TL-DR - Grey

You see way more primer gray cars like BG than blue cars like ZB.

I'm sure you're right. I can't keep track anymore; I just post whatever I see popup in new posts from various sites. We're so close to the flood gates opening up. Any day now...

Very true. I would have to select BG over ZB if they were the only two paint choices. The hard reality, I do not care for either, but BG would be easier for me to live with.

On point .. never once seen a Hyundai or Toyota in a similar light blue, And I live in LA

I don’t understand the constant bashing of ZB , just to make one feel better about their choice in color.

It goes both ways, some make constant posts about how great it is or how they saw it and its better than what people are making it out to be. Its easy to make jabs at those posts.

Bottom line...there are 5 colors, none great, but if you are buying the car you have to pick one of them. There is no right or wrong, its a personal preference and all that matters is people are happy with their choice.

Now who really thinks that faded baby blue looks good? J/k.
