Ok everyone...another thread. I am not familiar with these things so I thought you guys could enlighten me.

I don't work on my cars (I know, I guess I will be in a for rude awakening with the G87) so this is all rather new to me.

Can someone tell me what a stud conversion kit is? What is it for? The benefits or it? and will any of you guys be getting one?

It is just simply longer bolts to put the wheels on?

It's the opposite of longer bolts.

This gives conversion gives you hub attached studs to mount the wheels on rather than screwing them in with lug bolts. Never really saw the point as I've had no issues with regular lug bolts. Only thing I can think of is that it makes swapping out wheels a little easier.

What he said ^. It is particularly useful at at the track if you bring different sets of wheels and tires.

You can easy play with rims and spacers. And it looks sporty.

I'm doing lots of wheel swaps this year before/after autocross events, starting to look into a stud conversion kit. Needs to work with my BMS 10mm & 13mm spacers. I *think* this has me looking at 75mm 14x1.25 studs. Anyone have a kit you'd recommend?
