M Performance HAS kit, port installed
Has anyone confirmed or have evidence that if the HAS kit is port installed and say 12 months after delivery, the shock fails, is the shock covered under warranty vs being told the HAS kit is a KW part and it caused the shock failure and shock replacement is not covered?

If you get the M Perf HAS port installed it's fully covered under the cars 4yr/50k warranty.

That I know, and while it seems odd, but just wondering if the shock failed and they claim due to the HAS that it voids the coverage of the shock (I know utnseems a covered part voiding another part's coverage would be odd but stranger things have happened). |

It's an OEM BMW part installed by BMW. It doesn't void anything, even if it blew out your shock. That's the whole point of being covered under the cars warranty.
