PPS: Make sure you have a 17mm socket wrench. You cannot screw this into the toe-hook mount by hand, no way you'll get it tight enough.

I got a Sto N Sho that I believe GregW / Oregon recommended. I personally don’t love the offset look of the Tow Hook.

Some do it at the very bottom (black piano), some under the body colour part so it looks OEM (but the holes are hidden in the big gaping mouth underneath).

TY for the explanation. Yeah, I just am so aggravated by the idea of drilling holes that even that sounds bad to me. It's a personal thing.

Thanks for the update. I have this one installed on my G42 and was hoping I could just swap it over to the G87. Glad to know it works.

As an update for mine. The cheap ebay option is still holding up as well. Same reservations as my initial review, but considering its held, I call it a win.

Squidget glad to see yours is working out too. Looks good and with similar fitment to both mine and the RHO, if I properly remember the pic of that I saw when first posted. Looks like we have three solid options confirmed for the g87 with this mounting location.

Sometime in the next few days I’ll update the OP for folks searching with links and pics for all 3.

I've had it on since August of 2022. It's tilted a little bit, but nothing crazy. I've always been able to rotate it more easily than I would have liked, but no issues.

When I swap it to the G87 tomorrow I'm going to try to loctite everything.
