Purchasing Questions

Hi, I have a few questions regarding purchasing a G87 M2. I'm located in Mississauga any suggestion on reputable dealerships to contact in the GTA area? Has anyone used the services of Car Help or Car Cost etc.. to help with purchasing your M2? Basically has anyone gotten theirs bellow MSRP or should I just expect to pay MSRP and be good with it? If you care to share or PM me how much you paid for your M2?

Thanks for any response

My experience with all my BMWs has been to expect to pay MSRP. Over the years, I bought 4 in Quebec, and bought the M2 from BMW Markham.

Sales service was great, delivery was underwhelming.

Thanks for the reply.. I guess these days expect to pay MSRP for such a car. Maybe I can knock off 2K off MSRP?

Even back in 2002, they wouldn't budge on MSRP. I once got delivery fees waived, and apparently other dealers complained about it!

No harm in you trying, report back!

This would be my first BMW.. I guess that's just how it is with luxury car brands.. I guess haggling isn't a thing. At least I have a pretty good idea at what to expect. Thanks for your help

It depends on several factors. If you buy an already built vehicle on the way or off the lot, you might have more pricing flexibility.

If you spec the vehicle, especially a brand new model with little to no inventory, the pricing will be more firm.

Happy hunting.

I went last week for an M2. I was able to get 2% off MSRP plus $1000 loyalty and they were about to add the 4th service year included.

Montreal area. I don’t want to say which dealer because I’m a pig and wanted more of a discount so I held off waiting for them to give me a bigger discount from one they had in stock.

Definitely makes sense. I went 2 weeks ago and my local dealer had a black 23 M2 6MT pretty much in the spec I wanted.

It should be pretty easy to get 5% off when its all said and done. Especially if you buy one of the "many" cars in stock in the Montreal area. I was offered that a few weeks ago. I'm including the BMW club 2% discount and this was for an order...should be able to more for something sitting on the lot.
