what I use for torquing oil filter housing and drain plug

This works great and in my testing is very accurate for low torque applications such as the oil drain plug and filter housing cap. Most 100 ft-lb wrenches like you use for your wheels don't even go as low as the 25 n-m= 18 ft-lb = 216 in-lbs required for these, and if they do they are probably very inaccurate. My in-lbs wrench only goes to 200.

This thing is great because it starts to give warning beeps when you get close, then a solid tone when you reach what you have set. It shows the torque you are applying constantly, but you don't need to watch it if you don't want to.
