ZC9 Rear Deck CF Spoiler shortgage?

What does anyone know about this spoiler shortgage? My CA said he doesn't know anything and that he would send an email to the VDC center (Galveston) to check on this. I've heard on the forums BMW ran out? I guess this is true as the spoiler was removed from options on mygarage.bmwusa. My car has been at ready for transport for over a month and now it looks like I might not get the spoiler. I understand many will say just go for aftermarket, cheaper this and that but I want my car OEM, personnel preference.

I just ordered the spoiler and the CA told me, that it will take about a month for it to arrive. There is a shortage yes, but at least it's available. (Europe)

Are you talking spoiler or wing?

I had the ZC9 port installed and mine looks identical to the spoiler in that picture.

Thanks for confirming it is apparently the same one that OP is looking for. I highly recommend AutoID. Fast shipping and excellent customer support.

Yes, that’s the ZC9 spoiler. I have it on my car. Delivered last month. It did come installed with a small scratch and a small ding.

Yep it’s currently unavailable for a port install. Go with IND.

Yep, I wrote about this a week or so ago. They are out of stock without an ETA on on resupply because of QA issues. So your best bet is IND or maybe getbmwparts.com for someone who has it in stock, or you go Kies copy cat.

confirmed...my M2 arrived Monday and the ZC9 spoiler wasn't there.. dealer called the contact for 'port installed items' and was told "none available"... would have been nice to mention we will forward to you when inventory comes back up, but no mention of an effort to complete the build or satisfy the customer order/request....
Seems customer service after the sale has been forgotten....

Yes, I posted about this several weeks ago in the waitlist thread. They are currently unavailable for port installation, unfortunately. Hoping they will become available before my car is on a ship. Really wanted it port installed so it's on the build sheet and covered under the warranty.

I just picked up my car from PCD yesterday and was told that my spoiler ZC9 had been removed from my build due to supply. I got a formal email from my CA and a forward of the email they got from BMW with my production number explaining the removal. It was removed from mygarage and on my window sticker when i paid for the car.

But upon pickup at PCD... the spoiler was there!!! It wasn't on the printed window sticker that was in the trunk either. .I was perplexed to see it on the car, but was pumped as I wanted it. So if your car was at port during the final batch of supply of these spoilers, you may get lucky! I imagine that there were some cars at the VPC when the spoilers ran out and they issued the blanket removal notice and email. I like to think that some nice VPC worker found me one and put it on with a wink.

Anyone else get lucky?

My car just arrived at the VPC this morning. I recently found out (via forum not even from my CA) that there was a shortgage which my CA later confirmed. I hope to get as lucky as you
