DBV's 6SPD BSM G87

I've really appreciated following some of the other builds here, and figured my set of current mods might interest some of those on the fence about HAS, spacers, smaller cosmetics etc.

My last M build was stateside (FL), so it's been a learning curve modding here in Germany. TÜV regulations, and police checks make it a bit more of a hassle than in the states, but the upside is, modified cars stand out that much more here. It's a weird mod culture here, with hardly any car meets. I've found enthusiasts have to go the extra mile to find a community.

As it stands now:

BSM G87 6 Speed
-Lowered on KW HAS - lowest "easy mode" TÜV height (~25mm lower)
-15mm H&R Spacers all around
-Clutch Stop (easily the best mod for manual cars)
-Since my Michelin PA5s are STILL back ordered, I'm rolling Hankook Winter i*cept Evo 3 (pretty decent winter tire, since I don't see much snow with the M2)
-Black M2 rear badge (larger than stock but blends well since it's black)
-Black MP style rear wing (I have no carbon anywhere else but interior)
-M LED puddle lights from addcarlights.com (initial quality is great, hope they hold up)

More to come... might go a tad bit lower, and can't wait to get wheels picked out for spring

The G87 M2 looks pretty solid as is & doesn't need to much to make it look even better. Congrats on yours man & keep it clean.

Car looks great. Like the way it should come stock! Spacers and a little drop really go a long way!

I have a lot of friends in Germany and Austria and they can't stand the strict modding rules over there.

black is definitely my favorite M2 color option from the available choices.

Thanks! Yeah, it's so annoying here with regulations, especially growing up used to doing so much to my cars without any concern over regulations and such... Forget "just going wider" with tires, or wheel fitments, or open cone intakes, or resonator deletes, etc...

I ordered the car in Black, not sure how it would look in person, and became worried, thinking I might have made a mistake. But after seeing the ZB cars on the road, and then my car... so worth it.

The rules one hates keep the junk and unsafe idiots off the roads in cars that are themselves, poorly modded and unsafe. I have zero issues with that aspect of life.
