I got into an accident recently. Is there a way to see historical data of the g-meter? Other than hiring someone for $500-$1,000 for a blackbox download.

You can request the telematics data from bmw.
I can’t remember exactly the link, it’s different for me in Europe, but short of a Google search, you might start here
