One year anniversary
Hello to all,
I wanted to give a shout out to the people who got their HEA cars last April. It's a good time to be an M enthusiast, cheers, Jeff Last edited by maxwell smart; 08-03-2024 at 03:21 PM.. |

Can’t believe it’s been a year already for me as well. Car still feels new. A real blast to drive and great platform to mod and make your own. I’ve come a long way from stock ZB.
Next mod: short shift kit going in next week. |

Bought my HEA car April 14, 2023. Over 7K miles. None of it on the track though.
So far car has been fantastic. No issues. Occasionally use it for errand running and it is quite well suited for this. Other times I drive it for pleasure and while I don't get all crazy when I give the car/engine the whip the response is exhilarating. The car is everything I thought/hoped it would be. |

13K miles in a year? Good for you. Being retired no work commute (for me it was 60 miles a day) and with family nearer me now no ~5K mile road trips to visit them. (I hate to fly.) Barring a couple of drives up north to the Joplin MO area to look at houses my longest drives are just about 60 miles and this when I drive to a restaurant in Fayetteville (AR). But I don't even get down there on average once a month. Plus the M2 shares garage space -- since Dec. 1 of last year -- with a 2024 BMW 230xi which is my daily driver/errand car/foul weather car. So far I've put over 4K miles on it. However, I'm getting bored just hanging around close to home. So when the weather gets better I'm thinking of taking the M2 on a road trip somewhere. |
