Post Power delivery G80/82 w/473hp compared to G87 w/453hp

A 20hp difference doesn't seem like much, but I've anecdotally heard from several people (some are G87 owners) that have driven both the MT G87 and base G80/82 and they say the M3/4 seem to have a bit more punch than the M2. Don't know if that's actually true or if it's just their butt dyno so I'm putting together this poll to call on those that have driven both to weigh in. I'm also making this poll public to deter trolls that may want to skew the results.

There have been more than 1 dyno comparison, I believe, showing both the M2 & M4 put down the same hp.

compare to my g80 MT to my g87 MT.. it felt the same around city. power talking.... but once you open her up. I have to say after 70MPH you will feel the extra 20hp.

That makes sense when you compare the figures between the two.

Base G80/82
Power output 473hp @ 6,250
Torque ft-lbs. 406 @ 2,650 – 6,130

'23-'24 G87
Power output 453hp @ 6,250
Torque ft-lbs. 406 @ 2,650 – 5,870

What I had heard anecdotally from several people was the base G80/82 were more eager even at lower speeds. I don't fully buy that at the moment.

The dyno from IND for the G82 and G87 do show the G82 seems to have the initial jump in torque about 500RPM earlier than the G87, but it's really hard to compare dyno results since on different days results can vary a lot.
